IRELAND: PLACE OF THE LAKE
There is a sense of loneliness here.
It's not the kind that makes you sad, but one that somehow makes you feel whole.
The vastness of the land and the near invisible human touch - almost not present but sensed. It's not frequent to see people, in fact, in my experience it has been rare.
Farmers here have spent their whole life working the land. It's hard work when you're all alone out in the yonder. But somehow, I imagine, during those long hours of solitude there is an intimacy,. One where man and land become one and the same.
